Sustainability
At DAMA, sustainability is not a seasonal campaign — it is the quiet, consistent force behind everything we do. From the first sketch to the final stitch, each piece is designed and produced with deep intention, care, and respect for both people and planet.

Our Materials
Our entire production is based on a kilometro zero model, centered around our in-house atelier located just above our store in the heart of Bolzano. Nestled on the fourth floor of a historic building, this atelier is where ideas take shape and garments come to life — a light-filled space where design, pattern-making, cutting, and sewing unfold under one roof. Once completed, each piece travels only a few flights down, directly into our store, ready to be worn. This proximity enables full transparency and traceability, while dramatically reducing the environmental impact of transportation and unnecessary logistics.
Our Process
We produce nearly everything in-house, with the exception of our shirts, which are made in a traditional camiceria in Florence. There, a small team of skilled women carry on the craft of Italian shirtmaking, combining heritage techniques with an eye for modern precision. All of our production — both in Bolzano and Florence — is led by women, made for women.
Our materials are chosen with equal care. We work primarily with deadstock fabrics: high-quality textiles left over from past productions that would otherwise go unused. By giving new life to what already exists, we not only minimize waste, but also celebrate the beauty of scarcity — knowing that each fabric has its own story and will not be replicated endlessly. Each piece, therefore, becomes part of a finite edition, crafted with attention and purpose.

At DAMA, we reject overproduction and fast-fashion cycles. We believe clothing should be considered, not consumed. That's why we operate on a small-scale production model, making limited quantities and restocking only as needed. If a piece is not available in your size, it will be made to order — a process that typically takes up to two weeks. This slower, more mindful approach ensures that every item has a reason to exist, and nothing is made in excess.
We also don't hold seasonal sales. By avoiding overproduction in the first place, there is no surplus to discount. Instead, we invite our community to invest in fewer, better pieces that transcend the season — garments designed to be worn and loved for years.
Rooted in timeless minimalism, DAMA collections are designed to form the foundation of a lasting wardrobe. Each piece is a quiet statement: a balance of softness and structure, elegance and ease. They are meant to evolve with the woman who wears them — adapting to her life, her rhythm, her sense of self.
This is our vision of sustainability: thoughtful, transparent, local, and enduring. Fashion that respects where it comes from, and where it's going.
